We had a special visit from Mary and Naomi from the Hearing Dogs and they bought along Bishop and Hannah – it was quite unusual to have four-legged friends in our school but it was for a very good reason – to raise awareness of diversity. We now understand how these dogs help people who cannot hear things like traffic, alarms and people. This year, to support Children in Need, children will be given a raffle ticket for every 50p brought in. All raffle tickets will be collected and one child will then get the chance to win a Pudsey Bear teddy in Celebration Assembly at the end of the day!
In Year 2 we have been working extremely hard on our phonics. We hope that you enjoy the video of us performing our sounds and actions.
Take a look at our children's class videos to get you in a festive mood.

Year 2 really got to grips with their weaving last half term (those who were not at Forest Schools). They worked really hard and took great care to remember to weave under and over, alternating this, row by row.
