On our lunchtime walks each day, Red Kites have been looking for clues that it is autumn.  We discussed what we can see, hear and feel when we are outdoors at this time of year.  We had some great ideas to share with our friends such as: “We might hear hedgehogs moving in the leaves”, “We can see the leaves changing colour” and “We can feel the prickly shell on the conker”.  When we were back in class, we sorted the leaves in different ways and we looked at them really carefully to make some observational drawings of our favourites.
