Red Kites are lucky enough to be working with our Big Local Community Artist, Sarah Wright, and artists from MK Gallery.  For the first session of this project, we walked to the Community Hub.  On the way, we did a walking art activity where we had to spot 5 things that we could see around us in the local environment and start to think about how they fit in with the elements of nature (air, fire, water and earth).  After collecting some art supplies including different kinds of paper, wax crayons, pens, charcoal and graphite from the Hub, we went to the Community Orchard.  Here we made different rubbings and pictures of the things we found around us.  Back at school, we discussed what we had seen and done on this creative journey.
