This year for Children in Need, Year 2 were excited contribute £1 to charity and come to school wearing something spotty or colourful. We enjoyed the Joe Wicks morning energiser to get us started for the day and showed our outfits off! We talked about making friends and talking about our feelings can help us feel happier and more positive – the suggestions of things to talk to others about really got us talking and make us smile! We discovered that getting active can also help us feel good so we went outside together and did some of Joe’s 5 minute move workouts with extra challenges thrown in. We also found out that trying out new things and learning new skills can help us feel good and we enjoyed naming things that we would like to learn to do.
