We welcomed our Police Community Support Officers, PCs Bolt and Rogers, into our school assembly this morning.
They carry lots of different pieces of equipment as part of their uniforms and they challenged us to see if we could explain what we thought they were for. One of the children in Rabbits class was lucky enough to be able to try on PC Bolt’s police vest and it was a little bit heavy! We really enjoyed finding out more about the job the police do to keep us safe as well as learning more about the transport they use – they even have police tractors and police horses! We also talked about how to keep ourselves safe if we ever get lost when we are out.
