On Thursday 25th January, Rabbits class travelled by coach to The Story Museum in Oxford.
We took part in the exciting activities to encourage and inspire our love of books and stories. After enjoying our picnic, we brushed our teeth and put on our dressing gowns ready for a whole class story in the huge bed! We visited the Hush room where we used the instruments to make quiet lullabys. We found the Nursery Rhymes on the wall to match the book and read stories with fun prompts. We took part in an art activity where we made a patchwork quilt, decorating each part with our own favourite stories. An exciting part was in the dressing room where we dressed up and walked down the red carpet for the talking throne to welcome us! In the animal room we explored the stories that have animals as the main characters and we also enjoyed taking pictures of our own shadows!
What a fun day we had!!
